Description
Rarely does a legendary band break up, reunite 14 years later, and proceed to make an album nearly as strong as their previous work but, in 1992, New York legends Television did just that, with their eponymous 3rd album. The trick, Tom Verlaine, Richard Lloyd, & Co. realized, was not to try to sound like 1978 Television, but instead to embrace where the last decade had taken them, and make a new sound, still distinctly Television, but also distinctly not a sad attempt to relive past glories. A great record from a legendary band, reissued on 180 gram vinyl.
