Zapp (also known as the Zapp Band or Zapp and Roger) is a soul and funk band formed in 1978 by brothers Roger Troutman, Larry Troutman, Lester Troutman, Tony Troutman and Terry "Zapp" Troutman. Zapp II is their second album. Released in 1982, the album became popular in funk for the singles "Dance Floor" (#1 Black Singles, #62 Club Play), and "Doo Wa Ditty (Blow That Thing)" (#10 Black Singles). The album reached #5 on the Black Albums and #25 on the Pop Albums charts.
