Description (Shiva's Headband) "signed with Capitol in early 1970 and recorded this LP at the Dead’s old studio in San Jose. This was the first release by an Austin band on a major label. Some of the advance was used to found the Armadillo World Headquarters. It incidentally ushered in the cosmic cowboy age.
